Noah And
                            The Indians

Noa and The Indians
The history of  Noah you all probably know
but did you know that there are similar myths all around the world
and on this page I will give you a couple of legends from south and central America
When the myths first appeared are hard to say
but the myths that I write about are from
for example the Maya culture that begun 2500 B.C
and  it had its prime between 300-900 A.D.
Or from the Aztec culture that founded it's capital in Mexico
1320 after many years of drifting from up north.
But they got conquered by the Spanish invaders 1521..

Maya

When the gods had created all the animals they realized that the animals could not ”adore” them.
They just could scream roar and peep. So they decided that they could create the humans
The first man they created of clay but the clayman was to weak.
The clayman could talk but it was impossible to understand what they said and when the gods lay the clayman in water it melted.
So, the gods had to begin again and after a powwow the gods decided to try to build humans in wood.
The wood man was almost a success. Coz' in no time it begun to reproduce and spreed all over the world.
But the woodman had no sense and it could not remember its creator.
So, the gods decided that they could extinguish the woodman in a big flood.
After another powwow the gods made the humans in white and yellow maize and there arms and legs in dough of cornflour.
And if we believe in this myth we are all descendants to the maize man. You newer now?

Aztec

According to the Aztec's the history of the world is divided in to five suns and every sun is ended in a catastrophe and one of the suns is called the watersuns aeon.
This aeon was ended by a big flood that drowned all living creatures but they spared all the fish and two humans by the name Tata and Nena.
One day when Tata and Nena worked on the fields the watersun called upon them en told them.
”I am going to let a big tidal wave flood the world and it will drown every living creature
”But I have decided that you two shall survive”
”how are we going to survive the flood” Nena asked
”you have to look for a big tree and hide like monkeys in a cavity in the stem of the tree.”
”but you have to chose a cavity that are high up near the peak of the tree.” said the watersun.
”and don't leave the cavity before the water have sunk.”
”But remember that when you have climbed back to the ground you can not be greedy you are aloud to take one maize-cob each noting more.” said the watersun:
Nena and Tata looked for the highest and most firm tree that they could find and did like the watersun had told them.
So, when the flood swept away every thing in its way they sat safe and secure in the cavity and when the water at last had sunken they climbed down to the ground.
But because of their hunger they forgot the watersuns words and took two fishes and started a fire to grill them.
When the watersun saw what they did he screamed.
”why didn't you obey me”
”I tooled you to only take one maize-cob each!”
so, the watersun punished them he hit them in the head with a big stick so that they fainted.
And than he removed the part in their brain that made them gods.
So, because Nena and Tata did not listen we are not gods just humans.
(See how it can go if you don't listen to the gods. Lol)

Yamana

When the Yamana people came to the earth women ruled over man but man rebelled and killed all the womens but the leader by the name Hunuxa they could not kill.
Coz' she fled up in the sky and became the moon and the scares from the battle you can still to this day see at the surface.
Evan thou Hunuxa had survived she was angry at the people, so to revenge what they have done
she threw her self whit all the power she had in to the ocean and caused a big terrifying wave that flooded the entire world.
This was just a couple of all the myths and histories about catastrophes that was caused by floods that have been told.
Why I have selected stories from south and central America is just because I know them best
but I know that it exists a lot of stories about floods from all around the world

Villacacotos

The man noticed that one of his lamas seamed to be sick and did not want to eat.

<>So, he asked the lama what was wrong. Then the lama answered that a big tidal wave was about to flood the land and drown every thing in its way. But if you take me and the other animals whit you maybe we can find a safe place. So,the man gathered all the animals and went to the peak of Villacacotos. And when they came there the mountain was already full with thousands of other animals but not a single human. Coz' the humans could not read the signs in the nature.
Than the flood came like the Lama had warned about and all the animals and humans that wasn't at the peak drowned in the flood.
It have been told that the only human that survived was the man on the top and that we all are related to him. (lucky for us that the man listened to the lama )

Now to the question that all this myths and stories awakes.
Is it just myths or is it historical facts about real catastrophes?
And if it is real catastrophes is it small local phenomenons or is it the same catastrophic event that all the myths are referring to.
In that case is it one or several civilizations that has expired in it. Or are all myths descended from the same source.
If that is the case then most not the early cultures all around the globe have had contact with each other much earlier than we think.
Coz if we look at all the similarity's in the myths all around the world we can see that the too theories are not to fare fetched.
Maybe
it is time to rewrite history one more time.
